Even a last-minute venue change because of the Agness fire couldn’t deter eight Curry Arts artists from enjoying Rene Eisenbart’s return marbling event. The rain held off long enough for work to dry and Dianna Brown’s clubhouse was a perfect substitute location for producing all kinds of creative works. Rene’s fabulous marbling technique was applied to paintings, scarves, and even to a pair of Pat Renner’s Krocs!
Curry Arts member Pat Renner is pleased to announce that she has had several paintings accepted in two regional watercolor shows.
She has three paintings hanging in the CAM Biennial show “An Exhibition of Recent Works by Oregon Artists” at the Coos Art Museum in Coos Bay, Oregon. The show runs from October 19 – December 8, 2018, with the opening night reception Friday October 19, 2018, 5pm-7pm.
The three works accepted into the CAM exhibition, shown below, are:
The Furies–Through the Door, The Furies–The Gymnast, and The Furies–Forlorn Fairy.
In addition, Pat’s painting “Girl in a Tree” has been juried into the Watercolor Society of Oregon, Fall 2018 watercolor show.
Way to go Pat!
