Nonprofit Volunteer Expo – Curry Public Library, Saturday April 15

Many thanks to Laura Lee Cundiff, Janee Lensing and Tammy DeLaney for organizing (and staffing) the Curry Arts booth at the Nonprofit Expo held at the Curry Public Library, Saturday April 15.

A special thank you to Curry Arts member John Harold Scott for donating two of his colorful paintings for the free raffle.

The purpose of the event was to introduce newer community members to volunteer opportunities and local non-profit organizations, including Curry Arts!

Curry Arts ROCKED it at the Party in the Park! #CurryArtsRocks

The Curry Arts booth at the Party in the Park on July 9 was a ROCKIN’ success!  Actually 300-plus rockin’ rocks!

Over 300 white-primed, flat river rocks were painted by children of all ages.  Paintings included dragons, unicorns, and unique personal designs.

Hoping that painting these rocks, in some small way, inspires these talented kids to find time for art elsewhere in their lives.

A big SHOUT OUT to Tammy Delaney for organizing the booth and to all the Curry Arts members who helped.

A good time was had by all.
