About the Artist – Laura Lee Cundiff is a fine artist, illustrator, sculptor and designer. Born in Georgetown, Kentucky and raised in a creative family, she has always drawn and painted and has exhibited work since 1986. After graduating from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, she freelanced illustration and design in New York City for several years. In 1988 she returned to the bluegrass region of Kentucky and continued to paint around a career and a renovation, exhibiting regionally and winning some purchase awards. She has also danced most of her life and enjoys painting a big crowd of dancing figures and musicians.
She and her husband Tom Herrick moved to Gold Beach in September 2021, where she is now happily painting the ocean, hiking, kayaking, gardening and fishing.
