About the Artist – Pat Renner, a former school librarian and art teacher, always did art—from drawing, to batik, to oils and acrylics. After retirement, she found her way to watercolor media. Beginning with a grounding of the basic techniques, Pat found that expressing her ideas became doable.
Coastal living, near the Rogue River provides endless inspiration, as do still life and flowers. Lately, painting figures from life in a supportive group has become her passion.
An active member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon, a juried member of Watercolor West, and a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, Pat has exhibited in national, regional, and state watercolor shows, receiving numerous awards. She lives with her husband, Paul, in Gold Beach, Oregon.
